Other cultural places
The Wood Museum is located in the Palace’s old cellars, which have been recently restored. Access is from the small door on Via Borromeo. The same access also leads to the Oratory of the Holy Guardian Angels, a space that is only open on special occasions or for temporary exhibitions.
The Disarò Auditorium, on the other hand, is located in Piazza Monsignor Arrigoni. Exiting the main door of the Palace and crossing the scenic Piazza Esedra, you will find yourself near two churches, one in front of the other. The one on the right, smaller, is the Ancient Church of Santo Stefano, now the Disarò Auditorium.
Palazzo Arese Jacini, now the municipal seat, is located in Piazza Arese 12, less than a 5-minute walk from Palazzo Arese Borromeo. Exiting the main door of the palace, turn left and, when you reach the corner of the “Torrazzo,” turn right and immediately left to enter the Piazza. The palace is at the end, on the left.
